Some wackjob leaves injured Chihuahua and threatening note on doorstep of Irving Mayor Herbert Gears on Saturday
IRVING What can construed from the fact that someone left an injured Chihuahua puppy and a threatening note at Irving Mayor Herbert Gears' home on Saturday? Someone left a cardboard box on his doorstep with a note that said he should make sure animal services picked up stray animals. The box was empty. But then on Sunday morning, he found the Chihuahua puppy on his porch. The puppy appears to have been bitten by a bigger dog, but is expected to recover.
Is it the confrontational re-election campaign in Irving whose hot-button issues include housing, redevelopment, and illegal immigration? Or is just another example of someone who should not be allowed near animals?
