Burleson bicyclist has been hospitalized following hit-and-run accident
BURLESON A bicyclist was flown to a Fort Worth hospital early Wednesday after he was apparently the victim of a hit-and-run accident.
The accident occurred in the 700 block of North Burleson Boulevard (the west service road to I-35W) shortly before 2:30 a.m. on April 30. The bicyclist was headed south on the one-way, two-lane frontage road.
According to officers at the scene, a passerby noticed an unidentified man lying near a bicycle on the service road. Burleson firefighters, MedStar ambulance, and Care Flite responded. The victim’s condition is unknown at this time.
Police are seeking witnesses to the accident.
