Perot Systems Corporation today announced that its Healthcare business unit has received the #1 ranking in the KLAS survey of professional services firms that provide clinical implementation services. Known throughout the Healthcare industry for its stringent impartiality, KLAS helps healthcare providers make informed technology decisions by independently monitoring vendor performance through the active participation of thousands of healthcare organizations.

Perot Systems was the only company in the KLAS survey that had all of its detail performance scores rank above the industry average for Clinical Knowledge, Application Knowledge, Knowledge Transfer, and Implementing Workflow Design. KLAS divides implementing workflow redesign into two categories: moderate or extensive. Perot Systems had the highest percentage (75 percent) of clients that utilized them for Extensive Clinical Workflow Redesign, as well as the highest overall score for Implementing Workflow Redesign.

"We are especially pleased with this #1 ranking by KLAS. It validates our strategy to use experienced clinicians as an integral part of implementing advanced clinical systems for hospitals and health systems," said Chuck Lyles, president of the Perot Systems Healthcare group. "Integrating clinicians into our delivery process allows our team to implement even the most extensive clinical workflows, while providing knowledge transfer and allowing our customers to maximize their clinical system investment."

Lyles goes on to say, "At Perot Systems, it is critical that we continue to provide our customers with a full complement of solutions they need to deliver better care to their patients. Several years ago, we made a conscious effort to develop our clinical transformation capability across market-leading clinical information system products. The KLAS results validate that the path we chose was the right one. Our goal now is to leverage this highly sought after skill set, not only in larger hospitals and health systems, but also apply them to the mid-level hospital market to improve the business of health so our clients can transform care. Our recent acquisition of JJWild is just one example of our dedication to providing valuable solutions to the entire healthcare market."

Perot Systems also scored above the industry average for all of the Business Indicators and for all of the Performance Indicators, with their highest scores in: Client's Best Consultant Experience, Services Delivered within Budget/Cost, Avoids Nickel-and-Diming, Worth the Effort, Services Delivered As Promised, Helps Job Performance, Real Problem Resolution, and Overall Satisfaction.
