Five Fort Worth police officers suffer from heat exhaustion Friday
With temperatures reaching 104 and a heat index of 110, it was a rough day for Fort Worth police officers. Five in all ended up at Harris Methodist Hospital for heat exhaustion. Four of the officers were admitted after a lengthy foot chase in pursuit of wheel robbers. Wheelbers, for short. All were released later in the day and are expected to make a full recovery.
