Kennedale ISD holding special meeting on August 3 to approve 2008-2009 budget
This is a special meeting. It's not like the other meetings. It's special. Seriously.
KENNEDALE — A Special Meeting of the Board of Trustees of Kennedale Independent School District will be held August 3, at 4:30 p.m. in Kennedale High School, 901 Wlldcat Way.
This will be a public meeting to discuss the 2008-2009 budget and proposed tax rate. They'll discuss and adopt the 2008-2009 budget, then discuss and adopt the 2008 tax rate, then discuss and order an election to ratify the approved 2008 tax rate.
August 3, that's on a Sunday, right? Those Kennedale trustees are a dedicated bunch. While most people are having barbecues or hanging out in the yard or at the very least winding down their weekend, Kennedale's ISD Board of Trustees is having a meeting. That's how they roll out in Kennedale.
