First case of West Nile this year reported in Dallas County
A Dallas County man who contracted West Nile virus was treated and is recovering. According to the WFAA piece, he lives in the 75180 zip code, which, according to Google Maps, is in Mesquite, very near Balch Springs. Take it for what you will. In any case, wear bug spray. This may be the first case of the season, but it's likely not the last.
