Flower Mound offers $5000 reward for tip leading to arrest of pharmacy robbery suspect

It's part of a new anonymous-tip program instituted by the Flower Mound Police Department.

FLOWER MOUND — A new program instituted by the Flower Mound Police Department allows for cash rewards to be given for anonymous tips that result in an arrest related to crimes that occurred in Flower Mound. The rewards will be funded exclusively through the Flower Mound Police Department’s seizure fund, so in effect; criminals will be helping catch other criminals.

The program’s first case will offer a $5,000 cash reward for tip information that leads to the arrest and indictment of the individual responsible for several recent pharmacy robberies. For other cases, the process will begin when a criminal case is selected and highlighted in the media and on the Town’s cable channel and Web site. Anyone providing a tip that leads to an arrest will be eligible to receive a cash reward ranging from $50 to $5,000. Callers with tips should call the non-emergency police number (972-539-0525) to receive their anonymous tip code.
