TCU alums to compete in China’s Olympic Games
Four former students will participate in track events and one will pitch on the baseball team.
Five Texas Christian University Horned Frogs will travel to China to compete in the Olympics, though - interestingly - only one of them appears on the U.S. Olympic Team roster.
In the Sprints competition, Lewis Banda will run for Zimbabwe; Virgil Hodge and Kim Collins will pound the turf for St. Kitts & Nevis; and Michael Frater will - um - tear up the tarmac while wearing Jamaican colors.
On the less cosmopolitan front, Jake Arrieta will pitch for the U.S. baseball team.
