Dallas-based Southwest Airlines holding “Next Food Network Star”-type competition for video-blogger
Dallas-based Southwest Airlines is holding a contest-competition-type thing called "Are You Nutty Enough to be Southwest's Next Blog Star?", in search of someone who will do video-logues for its blog. The winner would travel to various Southwest cities and produce video segments profiling employees, that kind of thing. The winner not only gets flown to these cities by Southwest (duh), but also gets a video camera, laptop, and editing software! Wow. Editing software. Three finalists will go to the 2008 BlogWorld Expo in Las Vegas on September 20-21 where they'll compete in a final competition round, just like on "Next Food Network Star," only without the knives (we hope! har). Submit your one-minute audition video here by August 31.
