Dallas courts can’t stand the heat (because the AC is down)
A tersely-worded press release from the city of Dallas has informed us that the Municipal Court Buildings at 2014 Main and 106 Harwood are closed for the remainder of the day due to a malfunction in the building's air conditioning system. Apparently the fan motor broke down, making defendants sweat for reasons other than having to do with their cases.
They say they'll have the AC fixed by tomorrow, but I say this should just be a good excuse for a four-day weekend.
