SXSW puts out a call for entries for their 2009 Film Festival
Would-be auteurs, here's your chance at fame (and perhaps even fortune).
The SXSW Film Festival crew have opened their virtual barn doors to receive submissions of works from filmmakers interested in having their opuses (opi?) appear as part of the 2009 SXSW film lineup.
Whether your cinematic love child is a narrative, documentary, experimental, feature, short subject or music vid, the judges at SXSW will give it consideration - as long as you follow the rules and submit it through this link.
You've got until Nov. 14 to get in under the early submission wire, with the final deadline for entries being Dec. 12.
If you only like to watch (like Chance the Gardener), you may also go ahead and purchase festival passes at this time by navigating here.
Winners of the SXSWclick competition can now be viewed in their entirety here. As a result of winning in their respective categories, these films are now officially eligible to screen at the 2009 SXSW Film Fest. So consider them part of the lineup.
