DALLAS The Dallas-based law firm Gardere Wynne Sewell announced today that it had earned an Award of Distinction in the Communicator Award’s print advertising campaign category for its “They Call It/We Call It” series.
Gardere earned a second 2008 Award of Distinction in the community outreach program category based on the annual Gardere Martin Luther King Jr. Oratory Competitions. More than 280 students representing a combined 20 schools participated in the 2008 competitions in Dallas, Houston and Austin.
“Both these entries provide an accurate reflection of what we are as a firm,” says Gardere Managing Partner Steve Good. “We are committed to our communities and we are committed to providing our clients the best representation possible.”
More than 8,500 entries from across the United States and around the world were received for the 2008 Communicator Awards.
The Communicator Awards is the leading international awards program honoring creative excellence for communications professionals. The annual competition honors the best in advertising, corporate communications, public relations and identity work for print, video, interactive and audio.
Gardere Wynne Sewell LLP was founded in 1909 and is one of the Southwest’s largest full-service law firms.
