Adam Donachie gave the Naturals an early lead when he hit his fifth home run of the year with Juan Richardson and Cory Aldridge on the base paths. Northwest Arkansas added to their three run lead in the third when Richardson homered with two on board and made the score 6-0. Aldridge followed with a base hit to right field and later scored on a Mario Lisson double that gave the Naturals a 7-0 lead.

Northwest Arkansas added a run in the fourth to make it an 8-0 ballgame. Adam Fox put Frisco on the board when he hit his seventh big fly of the year with Chad Tracy on board. Dustin Majewski drove in another run for the RoughRiders in the fourth frame when he doubled to right field and plated Elvis Andrus to cut the lead to 8-3. Five runs was a close as the ‘Riders would get as the Naturals added two runs in the seventh to put the game away at 10-3.

Trey Hodges (8-8) pitched three innings before handing the game over to the bullpen that pitched the remaining five innings. Clayton Hamilton, Beau Jones, and Andrew Laughter struck out four batters and gave up three runs combined.

Majewski led the Frisco offense with two hits in four at-bats with an RBI. Tracy also went 2-for-4 with a run scored. Fox went 1-for-4 with two RBI, a run scored and his seventh home run of the year in the fifth. Andrus continues to distance himself from the old RoughRider stolen base record with his 47th steal of the year.

The RoughRiders have an off day Tuesday before returning home to Dr Pepper Ballpark Wednesday night to take on the Tulsa Drillers in a three game series scheduled for a 7:00 pm start.
