FARMERS BRANCH — The Farmers Branch Police Department has joined several other Texas cities, along with communities across the nation, in subscribing to a web-based service that plots crime occurrences in their jurisdictions.

"Farmers Branch citizens can now use the power of the Internet to educate themselves about what is occurring in their neighborhoods," Chief Fuller explained. “This enables our citizens to better assist the police department in their efforts to keep Farmers Branch safe. Awareness is a powerful tool against crime, we cannot do it [combat crime] without our community’s help.”
