Mid-cities restaurateur shuts down Michael Anthony’s and Bacio Mia in Southlake, and Sofio’s in Flower Mound
Restaurateur Rocky Sofio appears to be out of the restaurant business: Three of his far-suburban restaurants have been closed, including Michael Anthony's Fine Dining and Bacio Mia Italian Cafe, both in Southlake, and Sofio's Italian Grill in Flower Mound.
The phones at all three restaurants have been disconnected. The Michael Anthony's space has already been taken over by a Mexican restaurant, Baja Bar Grill, which opened on Wednesday August 13. This is not the horrid Baja Fresh chain but is instead a sibling of Baja Mex Grill in Grapevine.
