Flower Mound attempts to have 2009 Wild About Flower Mound Festival
FLOWER MOUND — The majority of the Flower Mound Parks, Arts and Library Services Board have approved the sale and consumption of beer and wine at its 2009 Wild About Flower Mound Festival, mainly because 20 percent of the monies from the sales will go back to the town.
An attempt to have a May 9-10 2008 festival was canceled because of lack of sponsorships and a heavy financial burden on the town.
Flower Mound hopes to establish a signature event similar to GrapeFest in Grapevine and Taste of Addison in Addison.
