Bernadette Peters to perform with Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra September 27
Bernadette Peters will perform in a one-night-only performance with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra and Conductor Marvin Laird on September 27 at Bass Performance Hall. The concert, which will feature songs from her incredible career on both stage and screen, begins at 8 p.m.

Peters’ illustrious career includes performances on stage, on television, in film, in concert and on recordings. In 2003 she received her seventh Tony Award nomination for her electrifying portrayal of Momma Rose in Sam Mendes’ record-breaking Broadway revival of Gypsy. A performer of amazing versatility, Peters has lit up the silver screen in seventeen films throughout her distinguished career. She received a Golden Globe Award for her memorable performance in Pennies from Heaven. Other major film credits include Annie, The Jerk, The Longest Yard, Silent Movie, Pink Cadillac, Slaves of New York, Alice, Impromptu, and most recently It Runs in the Family. While she is best known for her work in theater, Peters boasts an impressive list of television credits ranging from performing arts specials such as PBS’ Evening at Pops and the Kennedy Center Honors to appearances in variety shows such as the Carol Burnett Show and Emmy-nominated performances on The Muppet Show and Ally McBeal. She has also been featured on numerous Grammy Award-winning Broadway cast albums.
Tickets are $29 - $99 and are available at www.fwsymphony.org, by telephone at 817-665-6000, or by visiting the FWSO Ticket Office at 330 E. Fourth Street, Suite 200, in downtown Fort Worth. The ticket office is open from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
