This venue is about 1.5 miles from the original site at the intersection of Liberty Grove Road and Main Street. The event will still be held on Thursday, August 21 at 9 a.m. with remarks beginning at 9:15 a.m.
This 9.9-mile Eastern Extension will extend from State Highway 78 to Interstate Highway 30, through the cities of Garland, Sachse and Rowlett and be open to traffic at the end of 2011.
