Fort Worth Star Telegram undergoing another round of buy-outs/layoffs
FORT WORTH The Star-Telegram announced that it is offering buyouts to the majority of regular full-time employees.
"The majority of regular full-time employees", what does that mean, exactly? Because it makes it sound like the newspaper is shutting down or something.
They aren't saying how many employees they want to leave, but they are saying that if there aren't enough people who take buyouts, there'll be layoffs.
The paper already had one layoff in April and another one in June.
