Dallas Fort Worth under a RED pollution alert Tuesday
Get your oxygen tanks, hide the children and for the love of God do NOT go running! Unless it's on a treadmill inside, cuz you could probably use a good run.
North Texas is at a level red pollution alert for Tuesday. This means if you have breathing problems or you're really old or really little your best bet is to stay indoors in the A/C. Because if you were indoors without air conditioning all you would do is open a window and let all that pollution inside.

Maybe this is why my allergies were going crazy when I went outside. Or maybe it's the lawn care guys mowing the dirt outside my window.

"Residents are advised to stay inside unless you wear sunscreen or are very, very hairy. Experts recommend a class 9, or Robin Williams, level of hair coverage."

Class 9 coverage? That sounds pretty ominous considering class 5 rafting is quite severe.
If you are THAT hairy, you might be asked to stay indoors at all times :-)
Just kidding.

Collin: You don't have to be fat for a good run to be of use. Isn't 30 minutes 3 times a week the standard recommendation?

I did my part by taking the bus to run some errands.
And then walking a mile and a $&*#ing half because I just barely missed one.
My lungs feel dirty :(

Were you late or did it come early? Early DART buses are the worst!

Was it regular old ozone and CO or were we blanketed in despair today?

Pavel Lishin, says:
I'm not sure, but the next one I caught came exactly in between the two scheduled times. I think that makes it both late and early at the same time?
