Hawaiian Falls Garland to host Operation Kindness 14th Annual Dog Day Afternoon
Activities will include a pledge walk, canine contests, entertainment, pet photos, a Doggie Mall, food, drinks and frozen treats.
Swim and play with your dogs, family and friends at Hawaiian Falls water park in Garland from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, September 20 to benefit Operation Kindness, North Texas’ oldest and largest no-kill animal shelter.
Before September 15, pre-registration cost of $25 includes 9 a.m. Pledge Walk, water park admission, t-shirt, dog bandana, and canine contest admission for one dog. Walk participation or park admission only is $15 each before September 15, or $20 at the gate.
Activities will include a pledge walk, canine contests, entertainment, pet photos, a Doggie Mall, food, drinks and frozen treats.
Last year, breeds from tiny chihuahuas and terriers to massive bloodhounds and mastiffs peacefully paddled and played in the Waikiki Beach wave pool and Splashwater Falls. Hawaiian Falls schedules the fundraiser on the last day of the season since they will be draining the pools for the winter the following day.
