Nordstrom Rack to open in Shops at Southlake in fall 2009
SOUTHLAKE Seattle-based Nordstrom announced it will open a 35,000-square-foot Nordstrom Rack, a unit of the company's off-price retail division, at Shops of Southlake in fall 2009.
This will be the retailer's third Nordstrom Rack in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area and its fourth in the state. Nordstrom currently operates a Rack store at Preston Shepard Place in Plano, and a new Nordstrom Rack will open at Park Lane in Dallas in spring 2009. The company will also open a new Nordstrom Rack at The Rim in San Antonio on Nov. 13, 2008. Nordstrom also operates seven full-line stores in Texas, with four located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Developed by Cencor and leased by the Weitzman Group, Shops of Southlake sits across from the Southlake Town Square. Located on the corner of East Southlake Boulevard and South Carroll Avenue, the center is anchored by Central Market and features other retailers including Bailey Banks & Biddle, Coal Vines, DSW, Pier One and Swoozie's.
