Texas Ballet Theater officials offer to resign to save organization
The Texas Ballet Theater organization is in deep financial trouble, and two of its top officials say they are willing to step aside if it means that the group will be able to continue. Both Chairwoman Robin Arena and artistic director Ben Stevenson told the Star-Telegram that they would give up their posts if others thought they should.
Now, I'm no genius, but I'm not exactly sure how a group could be made stronger by getting rid of the people who know how to run it best, even if it did free up some cash.
