The proposal for Rufe Snow between Barbara Lane and Rapp Road was originally intended to be improved to six lanes, according to Keller Mayor Pat McGrail's recent update. Residents living along that span of Rufe Snow were concerned about the size of the project, and accompanied by an engineer study, they're asking that the improvements be scaled down to a four-lane divided road.
The Keller City Council will meet on Tuesday to discuss the new proposal. Because the $6.2 to $6.75 million dollar project will be paid in part by Tarrant County bond funds, the TC commissioners court has to approve any changes that may be made.
