Unfunny police radio bandit breaks onto Dallas PD airwaves
"Boy who cried wolf" syndrome hits NE Division radio frequency.
Some bonehead crook(s) stole five police transceivers from Dallas Fire Dept.'s Station 37 on Greenville Ave. earlier this week.
On Thurs., Aug. 28 - for about half an hour, according to reports - some stupid a**hole decided it would be cool to broadcast over DPD channel 2 (covering the Northeast Division), saying stuff like "I need donuts" and "CODE RED! CODE RED!"
Aside from the fact that the perp might have endangered the lives of people in need of emergency assistance, he compounded his crime by having no original comedic material ready for his prime-time performance. (I mean, donuts? That's been done to death.)
The unfunny broadcaster faces a number of criminal charges.
