Copper thieves will steal from a little league baseball field, so it's no surprise that they'll take copper wiring straight from a school bus. In the busiest time of year for the Kleberg bus service station (wouldn't that be anytime school is in session?), thieves took copper wiring from the battery terminal in 10 buses. As a result, these Dallas County buses would not start on Thursday morning. Thieves made away with about $2000 worth of copper.
