Cement company sues Dallas, other cities for “green” cement resolution

Hmm... spend money on greener cement processes for your company, or hire lawyers to force cities to buy your pollute-tastic cement. It's a wash really.

Ash Grove Texas LP, a cement company in Midlothian, is suing several North Texas cities that have adopted "green" cement resolutions on the grounds that it violates their constitutional rights and Texas laws. Ash Grove uses a wet kiln process in cement making, which is shown to cause more pollution than a dry kiln process. The resolutions prevent the cities from buying from Ash Grove, which they claim hampers competitive bidding. The laundry list of cities being sued is: Dallas, Plano, Arlington and Fort Worth, along with Dallas and Tarrant counties and Dallas County Schools. (Because DISD needs a lawsuit right now.) How much does it cost to build a dry kiln plant? Maybe about the same as the legal fees to sue multiple cities? I'm just sayin'...

We're dealing with the Good Ol' Boy mutant retards in hicksville who've gotten a "free pass" via Joe Barton for years. Now, the cities in the surrounding areas are getting wise to their dealings and standing up accordingly, hence why their throwing a pitty party via the court system.
