Judge sanctions Farmers Branch for failing to produce rental ban-related documents
The ongoing hubbub surrounding Farmers Branch's rental ban policy continues. In one of many lawsuits against the city, District Court Judge Bruce Priddy has sanctioned Farmers Branch for failure to produce court ordered documents regarding a violation of the Texas Open Meetings Act. Judge Priddy hired a firm to retrieve the documents at the city's expense and has appointed himself to oversee the process.
