Cedar Hill man shoots would-be car thief dead
The break-in artist was not put off by the homeowner's car alarm. Too bad for him.
An as-yet unidentified would-be car thief was in the process of breaking into a Cedar Hill resident's auto, say police, when the (also unidentified) homeowner - who heard the car alarm go off - confronted the guy and shot him to death. This happened Friday morning (Dec. 5).
The homeowner first called police (before stepping out of the house with his unidentified firearm to take action), and he is not expected to face any criminal charges.

And soon you will see the thief's family come on the news and claim the "victim" merely wanted to wash the vehicle in exchange for a dolla..

My sympathies go out to the home owner who's evening was ruined.
