Ware will be on hand to sign autographs.
DALLAS Councilmember Tennell Atkins and Dallas Cowboys’ DeMarcus Ware will kick off the “Home for the Holidays” toy drive and adopt-a-family campaign.
Those wishing to contribute can drop off unwrapped new toys, clothing items or gift cards on December 9 at Dallas City Hall. The campaign’s purpose is to bring holiday joy to the growing number of District 8 families who are feeling the effects of the financial crisis.
DeMarcus Ware, who has joined the campaign to bring attention to the growing need to adopt families during the holiday season, will be on hand to sign autographs.
