Seven Dallas ISD teachers receive free airline tickets for essay contest
Teachers were invited to write essays about what makes their classroom unique and effective.
Seven Dallas ISD teachers will receive two tickets each on Lufthansa Airlines for winning an essay contest sponsored by STA Travel.
Teachers were invited to write essays about what makes their classroom unique and effective. STA received 61 applications and chose one entry for each learning community.
The selected teachers are: Oliver Patrick, Florence Middle School; Debra Hood, School of Business & Management at Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Center; LaTrece Bracks, McShan Elementary School; Stephen Miller, Anne Frank Elementary School; Linda Garrett, Central Elementary School; Dawn Stewart, Umphrey Lee Elementary School; and Stephanie Winters, W.W. Samuell High School.
