Fort Worth City Council passes restrictions on gas drilling
Reduced noise, emissions and permits for pipelines through neighborhoods were all part of the new ordinance.
The Fort Worth City Council passed new restrictions on gas drilling in the city Tuesday night, including noise restrictions, reduced emissions, and city permits for pipelines running through neighborhoods. However, contention over a setback provision led to that part of the ordinance being put on hold until next week.
