Fort Worth ISD to open gender-based academies should Polytechnic High close
The Fort Worth ISD Board of Education voted 7-2 Tuesday night to open two gender-based academies should Polytechnic High School receive another academically unacceptable state rating, which would force the school to shut down. Current students would be split into two groups, some being dispersed to other schools and some attending the new academies.
