Irving ballot official accepted 12 ballots recommended to be rejected
Democratic ballot board chairwoman Chorsia Davis' actions in the recent House District 105 election are being looked into. The DMN reports that 12 provisional ballots recommended to be rejected, for things like voting in the wrong precinct or not being registered to vote, were accepted by Davis. In one case a husband's ballot was rejected for address, but his wife's was accepted. Davis reportedly used Wite-out or a similar substance 30 times on provisional ballots, changing her mind back and forth, even scratching off the correctional fluid in some cases.
