North Texas nonprofit M Company recognized eight area corporations for their outstanding commitments to diversity and inclusion at its 12th annual awards celebration on December 3. The theme was "A Salute to 20 years of Diversity and Inclusion."
Honored award recipients were companies that demonstrated outstanding achievements with regard to diversity and inclusion for the past two decades. Recipients included: American Airlines; AT&T; DART; Dallas County Community College District; Energy Future Holdings; Frito-Lay; Texas Instruments, and The Dallas Morning News/Belo Corp. IBM Corporation received the Founding Sponsor's award for its 12-year support of the M Company awards program and mentorship.
The 2008 Executive Leadership Award went to Tom Trotter, IBM's executive emeritus, for his vision and unyielding support of the M Company mission since its inception in 1996. M Company also presented scholarships to three organizations that are dedicated leaders for youth education initiatives in the community: The Jefferies Street Learning Center, Mi Escuelita, and The MEED Center.

Wonderful to have Pegasus recognize these companies. I expected to see ATT, IBM, TI and AA in that list.
Surprised Dallas Morning News there. I take back 1/2 of what I say about them. :-)
