Dallas ISD does not vote to extend superintendent’s contract
On Thursday, Dec. 11, the school board of the Dallas Independent School District did not vote to extend the employment contract of Superintendent of Schools Michael Hinojosa as it had done at his request in previous years.
And this after the super agreed to take a voluntary pay cut of 5% (off his $334,000 after-pay-raise salary). Sheesh. What do people want from their school district's leadership, anyway?

John, did they actually vote on this? It's my understanding he didn't ask for an extension, therefore no vote was necessary.

You know, mbrentdude, after re-reading the linked article I think you are right. I'm changing the head to read "Dallas ISD does not vote to extend superintendent’s contract," which is more accurate.

Thanks for the correction.
