Dallas-Fort Worth area might get a light freezing rain on Monday night
Weather guy says a light freezing rain may hit the Dallas-Fort Worth area on Monday night. Temperatures overnight will be about 30 degrees, BUT: It'll warm up on Tuesday and stay that way for the rest of the week. Weather guy also says it'll get to 70 on Friday and then get cold again on Saturday but that's a long way off, so I sure wouldn't go making plans based on a week-away forecast.

We should be so lucky for it to only be 5,6 & 10. If there's any indication the frozen rain will stick (unlikely considering it was 79 degrees yesterday) it'll be 24/7 coverage.

Actually, from my reading of the Nat'l. Weather Service forecast for the region, Tues. a.m. will be the likeliest time for any frozen precip:

It's another typical North Texas winter; warm then bone-chilling cold, then warm again. Media news channels always seem to capture this as a dooms day event each and every year - Job security in repetition must be a comfort in this economy.

Well,... I was out in the weather today, and found my Arctic companions all ready to get their sled ready for tomorrow....A/T. Urban sled provider.

then bone-chilling cold
This is why out-of-towners laugh at us. Considering it's single-digit temps as far south as Kansas right now, I'm happy to be hanging out around freezing. That, and I dig my seasons - needs more cold and less see-sawing temps.
Although, I took advantage of the 70-degree weather yesterday to chang my brake pads. So it's not all bad...just mostly bad. =p

Hope they take solace in the fact I personally work on my car's brakes. At least I'll have an alibi for revenge if they somehow get mowed down on the sidewalk...
