Former Dallas Maverick coach Avery Johnson to visit two Dallas ISD high schools Thursday, December 18
Former Dallas Maverick coach Avery Johnson will visit two Dallas ISD high schools Thursday, December 18 to motivate students to aspire higher.
Johnson is making an effort to inspire high school students to follow the principles he outlines in his recently released book, Aspire Higher. He will donate 2,000 copies of his book to student basketball players and their coaches.
Johnson will visit W.W. Samuell High School, 8928 Palisade, at 10 a.m., Thursday, December 18 and at 3:25 p.m., he’ll visit Thomas Jefferson High School, 4001 Walnut Hill Lane.
