Today’s weather story: classic good news/bad news
Far be it from me to withhold vital weather forecast information from North Texans when most of us find the subject so dang fascinating.
So here's the scoop: we're liable to set a record high temperature today (Dec. 19), with temps topping out in the upper '70's; while tomorrow evening we get another cold front moving through (dry, sad to say) which will drop the mercury into the low '30's late Saturday, then into the low '20's Sunday night.
Hold onto your hats: winds will be gusting upwards of 30 mph by Sunday.

Screw Seattle (<a href="http://www.businesswire.com/portal/site/google/?ndmViewId=news_view&newsId=20070717005464&newsLang=en">er, I mean...</a>). I'd just like to get back to <a href="http://www.srh.weather.gov/fwd/CLIMO/coop/dallaslove.html">normal N. TX rain standards</a>, Collin.

Sigh, I wish we had better chances of a Monday freeze when I was actually scheduled to go to work. :(
