First Lady Laura Bush intent on re-learning cooking skills once she and POTUS re-settle in Dallas

5

First Lady Laura Bush gave an interview to Fox News in which she revealed that she hasn't cooked in 14 years. When she and President George Bush move to Dallas in January, she intends to re-learn those skills as well as the skills involved in decorating one's home.

She also admitted that the president had yet to step foot in their new house in Dallas, but that he has seen photos of the residence.

Here's an interesting description of their neighborhood from AP:

The Bushes recently bought a home among business leaders and prominent Republican donors in the affluent North Dallas neighborhood of Preston Hollow...

Hadn't really thought about it as being an area of "prominent Republican donors" but I guess that's what it is, mostly.

Shouldn't that be 'FPOTUS'...

On another note, W is building a library where he can have his special "Story Time"!

The Crayola sponsored 'W' library at S.M.U.

Actually, based on donations to Obama-McCain, that zip code is overwhelmingly democratic. Limosine liberals is the term, I think.

CitizenKane - where did you get that interesting bit of information? Did you make it up? http://tinyurl.com/6bsu84

According to the DallasNews.... •It's in reliably Republican precinct. No GOP candidate drew less than 63 percent of the vote there in last month's general election.

•It's in a politically active ZIP code, 75229, contributing $1.6 million last year in federal races – 30 times as much as the average ZIP code. Top recipients: John McCain and the Republican National Committee.
