Richardson native and internationally famous pop singer Jessica Simpson is creating a homey Christmas for b.f. and Dallas Cowboy Tony Romo. She's quoted as saying that she likes to stay at home (in Dallas) lately; that she's been trying to bake his favorite pie, pumpkin; and has been shopping for ornaments.

I can't imagine someone who (presumably) makes the scratch Avril does would bother being a gold-digger.
