Alan Young Buick-Pontiac-GMC dealership in North Richland Hills closed on Monday
The dealership had been in business for 23 years.
After 23 years in business, the Alan Young Buick-Pontiac-GMC dealership in North Richland Hills closed on Monday, after lender General Motors Acceptance Corp. terminated the credit agreement that allows dealers to buy and finance cars from the manufacturer.
As the Star Telegram puts it so well:
The demise of the dealership reflects the serious nature of the current economic conditions and the miserable state of new-car and -truck sales, which in November alone were down 40 percent from year-ago levels in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex.
Ugh.
