LMA Dallas City Group elects officers

DALLAS The 2009 officers for the Legal Marketing Association’s Dallas City Group have been announced.
Lisa Whitley Coleman, Communications Manager, Gardere Wynne Sewell, LLP, has been elected as Chair. Ms. Coleman has worked in the legal marketing field for the past five years, after working for the proceeding five years covering the legal industry for newspapers including Texas Lawyer and the Dallas Business Journal.
Other Dallas City Group leaders include: Immediate Past Chair, Susannah West, Marketing Strategist, Strasburger & Price, LLP; Program Chair, Brandy Austin, Client Relations Manager, Baker Botts LLP; and Membership Chair, Kelly Lindner, Law Firm Advertising Manager, Texas Lawyer. The Chair-Elect will be announced at a later date. All leaders serve a one-year term.
The Dallas City Group is a member of the Southeastern Chapter of the Legal Marketing Association (LMA), an organization dedicated to providing continuing education and professional development for those involved in legal services marketing. Members include both in-house marketing professionals, marketing consultants and vendors to the legal marketing industry.
Formed in 1997, the Southeastern Chapter is LMA’s largest individual chapter in the country, serving more than 400 members in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas. The Legal Marketing Association is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to serving the needs and maintaining the professional standards of the men and women involved in marketing within the legal profession.
