Dallas Baptist University gets $1 million gift from John and Nita Ford

DALLAS According to this story in the Dallas Business Journal, it appears Dallas Baptist University will receive a $1 million gift from John and Nita Ford. According to the report, the donation will be used for the construction of the Patty and Bo Pilgrim Chapel.
The University has said it will name the chapel's foyer after the Fords.
Nita Ford, one of the donors and a regular on many Dallas-area arts and education boards, was raised Baptist in Oak Cliff. She and her husband attend Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano.
