The Mayor used YouTube for his ego. Comments on his YouTube videos are disabled, just as he kept the Citizen Forum from being televised after he was Mayor. Federal tax liens were filed against him in 1990, 1993, 1994, 1995 & 2001, a State tax lien was filed against him in 1994 and he has been sued for his business practices.
He allowed a convicted Federal felon with multiple warrants in City Hall without being arrested. The felon was there with a person the Mayor used to do dirty work; where the latter person drove one of the Mayor’s cars and he had Federal tax liens filed against him in 1994, 2004 & 2008. The Mayor let the felon hold a protest at City Hall.
The Mayor also allowed the felon to get a permit to hold a protest parade with a police escort at an expense in excess of $20,000.00 to citizens yet the Irving police brought a criminal case against a citizen because the Mayor was upset about a dog the citizen left at the Mayor’s house that the citizen caught running at large.
