Elderly Cedar Hill woman dies four months after being beaten in home invasion
City appeals for help in solving the case.
Gloria June Martin, 78, died on Saturday as a result of complications from blunt force trauma sustained in a home invasion four months ago. The Cedar Hill resident called 911 in August after an intruder broke into her home, awoke Martin and beat her to a point where she couldn't even see, and made off with her purse and car.
