Wrong-way crash on Airport Freeway in Fort Worth kills driver
Around 2:45 a.m. Monday a Ford Explorer Sport Trac caused a wreck as it was driving east in the westbound lanes of Airport Freeway. The Sport Trac collided with with a Ford F350 underneath the Sylvania Avenue overpass. The driver of the Sport Trac, a 26-year-old man, died at the scene. The other driver sustained massive injuries and doctors at John Peter Smith Hospital aren't sure yet whether he will survive.
Police do not believe alcohol played a role in the incident.
