UPDATED: Naan Korean & Sushi in Allen closed, to be replaced by Blue Fish
The original branch at the Shops at Legacy in Plano has different ownership and is doing very well, thank you.
ALLEN Naan Korean & Sushi at the Watters Creek center in Allen closed down two weeks ago, confirmed a Watters Creek spokesperson.
The restaurant was opened about six months ago by Sasha Kim, who was the original owner of the Naan at the Shops at Legacy in Plano, which she sold in early 2008.
In order to differentiate itself, the Plano branch subsequently changed its name to "Legacy Naan", says manager Dan Rottman.
"We're still OK over here," Rottman said. "We thought it was odd to have two places with different owners and the same name so we've been 'Legacy Naan' for the last six months or so, and have changed most everything here to reflect that."
UPDATE: Naan's space in Allen will be replaced by a new branch of Blue Fish, according to a spokesman for Watters Creek, who said that they already have "coming soon" signs posted and will be opening sometime after the first of the year.
Thanks to Paul H for the tip.

campania, says:
I think Blue Fish will do well in Watters Creek. There is no good sushi in the general Allen vicinity. The unfortunate reality in Allen is that restaurants generally need to be family friendly - and the Naan here had hot barbecue grills in the middle of the table. The parking is terrible, but it is a pretty cool development.
