Unknown suspect attempts kidnapping in northwest Dallas
On the afternoon of January 24th, 8-year-old Elizabet Ruiz was walking home from Burnet Elementary School in Dallas when an unknown suspect approached her.
The man told the girl he was there to take her home, and when she wouldn't get in his car, he picked her up in his arms. Luckily, the man tripped, and Elizabeth was able to run to safety at the nearby apartment of her baby sitter.
The incident occurred near 3100 Park Lane in Dallas. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, 25-30, 5 feet 9 driving a small gray four-door car with a rear spoiler.
