Hey! That's not TO!
PLANO Watching the Superbowl (still close at halftime) and caught an unusual ad in one of the few (two as of halftime) local spots. Crest Automotive, in an effort to draw test drives, is giving away a Cadillac or Infiniti to the patron who does the best touchdown victory dance.
Those who come in for a test drive will have their dances videotaped and then run through online voting.
Read the fine print though-- All you win is a two-year lease on the car. Not too shabby for five minute's work, but still not exactly "winning a car."
The ad was actually one of the more entertaining of the bleak Superbowl crop, parodying T.O.'s post-game soliloquy after the 'Boys were knocked out by the Giants. Razzing the home team is a gutsy move, to say the least.
Looks like the promotion is the brainchild of McCarthy Advertising in Dallas.
Other local advertisers included Conn's and Texas Power.
